I'm in a writing mode. dis b me, spillin' mai gutz:
1. You are my absolute best friend in the entire world. I am so blessed to have someone like you in my life, and I thank you for all the times you have helped me up when I've felt and been down and for all the times when you have truly helped me believe in myself. I am so incredibly happy for you and your girl because God knows you deserve her. Even though you get under my skin, bones, marrow, I wouldn't trade in anything for what we have.
2. I wish I knew you more than I do. You are so sweet and genuine and talented. I don't want to say I feel obligated to be better friends with you, but I really want to make the effort. I enjoy being around you, because you come with no complications.
3. You are my favorite. I mean it. I love how you are yourself no matter what, no matter where, and no matter with whom. And I really, really respect that. I wish I could see you more than I do, because being around you always makes me happy. I know that sometimes our conversations go dry and hey, it happens. Thank you for all that you've done for me and with me. I wish I could be more outgoing and more personable like yourself, but you have rubbed off on me enough to make me comfortable with how I relay myself when I'm around others.
4. I really wonder about you. I want more than anything for you to be happy and find your place in the world. It bothers me when I can't say anything to quell your anxieties. Sometimes, I wish things would have been different between us, that we had met under different circumstances. I really appreciate that you will listen to me be a moron and incoherent, seriously. Thank you for being in my life.
5. The years put between our friendship were worth it for what we have now. I'll say it now and I'll say it forever; you are God sent, you are amazing, you are one of the greatest people I will ever meet. There is nothing about you that I can criticize, nothing that irks me, nothing that makes me want to say 'ohhh God help me.' I am so glad to have you around to feed my creativity and to help me strive to be whatever I've been made for. You are such an inspiration to me. From the bottom of my heart, I don't know what I would do without you.
6. You annoy me. A lot. I don't want your attention. I hate to say it, but you really are out of my league. I'll always be your friend; nothing more, nothing less.
7. I want the best for you. I want you to not feel alone. I want you to not be weighted down by anyone or anything. I want you to make decisions for yourself and be okay with them. I want you to become less dependent. More than anything, I want you to be comfortable with yourself and believe in yourself, please.
8. I miss you more and more everyday. I think back on the limited time we spent together and I want to re-live everything. You are such an in-fucking-credible human being, it blows my mind sometimes. You have seriously affected me in ways that others have not. You've opened my eyes to so many aspects of living and indirectly helped me realize that it's my life, and I need to live it the way I want to. I wish wish wish with all my heart you were here. I want to do so many things with you; go to arcades, drive up and down the parkway, sit in a park across from the NYC skyline, everything.
9. I believe we have serious catching up to do.
10. I'm so glad that you're finding your niche. I wish we still spoke to each other as much as we used to, but it's okay, because I know you're okay, and I'm okay with that. One day, I think I would really love to sit down and have a cup of tea with you. No, I know I would really love that.

Alright kids, it's that time of year again!
thomasbecket's annual card post!
I've taken a tradition of sending out card to my lovely livejournal friends, only if they want it and want to give me their info, lol. So, what I need you to do is...
That's it. I still have addresses from last year, but if you've moved or something, give me that address. Hell, even if you're not sure if I have your address, it won't hurt to leave it anyways.
As always, comments are screened; you could slip in your deepest darkest secret and only I would know. :O lol

DESERT SONG, ARE YOU FUCKING FOR REAL?
I would have given anything to see that. Anything. I would have given up all my times seeing Vampires, Honey, Sorrows, seeing them in Maxwell's, doing the VMAs, being on TRL, fucking everything, to have heard that song live, to have felt that song live.
This is. I don't know. I don't know. I'm. ack.
ETA: sobbing now, kthnx MY GOD, IF ONLY, I. PLEASE GOD, LET ME SEE THAT SONG, JUST ONCE, I DON'T CARE, I NEED IT.

1. So. Frank goes batshitinsane when faced with spiders and Mikey and Ray loose their shit around large bodies of water. What are you scared of?
I'm not necessarily afraid of dying, at all, I'm more afraid of dying in vain and leaving the ones I love behind. That scares me. And, uhm. centipedes.
2. What are your top three bands NOT including My Chem?
Fuck. Definitely Alkaline Trio, Bouncing Souls, and uhm. New London Fire, basically. Those are the three bands whose shows you'll always find me at.
3. Would you rather see My Chem support Bon Jovi or MSI support My Chem?
Bon Jovi, son. October 25th! I'm stoked.
4. Can you rock out on any instruments?
I used to play the violin for a year, flute for 3, and guitar for a year and a half. Now I am musically declined, lmao. I should pick it up soon, though.
5. Do you support Bob's Solo Project?
LOL. I would be a terrible person if I didn't.
( here's some BR00TALITY from P-rev )

5. Do you support Bob's Solo Project?
LOL. I would be a terrible person if I didn't.
1. Did you see the Projekt Revolution stream? If you did what do you think?
I didn't, because I was in Asbury Park watching the Bouncing Souls play one of the greatest sets I've ever seen. But, from what I've heard, and the little clips I've seen, it sucked. Every live feed they do sucks. Those things make their sets look terrible, which pisses me off, because Chem sets are practically my life.
2. If you could be any member of MCR for a day, who would it be and why?
Oh fuck. Man. I think I'd be Rayray. Like, just be him, without being me? If that makes sense? Where he'd do what he normally does and obviously keep his talent, just I'd see it in his Point of View. That'd be great. :D
3. Our Gerard is allergic to cats, are you allergic to any kind of animal/food?
I'm allergic to nickel and Neosporin, basically. I don't think I'm allergic to any animals, which would absolutely kill me, since I fucking love pets.
4. Frank has a new tattoo, what do you think?
5. You can only pick one member of the band to go with each word. So who's the...
Cutest? Bobert.
Most in need of a cuddle? Gerard! The poor thing's off his rocker as of late.
Guitar Hero? Rayray, no doubt.
Rock God? Mikeyway, in his 34th lifetime, I guess, lol.
Nicest? FRANK, omg sweetest thing made by God since molasses.
What are your favourite songs to hear live?
Cemetery will always be my number one favorite song live. I really fucking miss Honey, too, that song always ripped people's assholes in half, it's that brutal. Then probably Disappear and Teenagers and Fashion Statement. Pretty much, yup.
Are you going to buy The Umbrella Academy when it comes out?
Oh definitely. My FCD copy was too much of a tease. WANTS MOAR.
Have any of the guys/the band as a whole lead you to discover something new that you maybe wouldn't have experienced otherwise?
Yanno, I wouldn't doubt it, but right now, I can't think of anything. You might assume that Frank's affinity forbig black dildos punk might've influenced me, but I swear, if Frank was my age, he'd fit right in with my group of friends since we've all got the same taste. I guess they've made me appreciate B-movies and whatnot?
If you could give the band any sort of superpowers what would they be?
I think I'd want to give them the ability to freeze time, just in case they want to sleep more, or go sight seeing or just be normal for a few hours. Seriously, since 24 really aren't enough.
Have you been to/are you going to a Projekt Revolution date?
I'm going to Connecticut, because I desperately needed to be in the pit and Holmdel, because I couldn't pass up a home state show.

1. How far have you gone to see My Chemical Romance?
Uhm, I think like 8 hours to Virginia for Warped Tour 05? I mean, I always go to Jersey shows and they are just...you haven't lived as a My Chem fan until you've seen them in Jersey, but sometimes, a lot of times, it's more fun to see them out of state, and I want to see them out of the country, in either Europe or Japan or both!
2. Exclusive ticket access to events. Good thing or bad thing?
Uhm, like with ProjRev? That was 109 kinds of terrible and annoying. I mean, sure, it seems fair that some bands give their fans the upper hand, but in the long run, it screws a lot of people over.
3. Do you write fiction about the boys? Or if you don't do you read it?
I used to. Not so much anymore, but I've thought about picking up on it. I do read though. A lot.
4. Mikey, is he coming back or not? Why do you think that is?
I sure hope he is. I've discussed the issue with a number of people and basically, I think Mikey should be coming back to keep the band grounded and together not only as a band, but especially as a family.
5. Do you have an MCR tattoo? If not do you want one or are you like our Gee and scared of needles?
Well, for one, I'm not of consenting age to get my own tattoo yet. Two, I don't have the money. And three, my mom is 110% anti-tattoos. But, I still plan on getting a few My Chem tattoos, actually. There's going to be one that's blatantly My Chem, one that's cross-fandom, and one that's indirectly dedicated to My Chem, for definite. I just don't want to say/show the design ideas, because I have this overwhelming fear that someone will take my idea and go run off the get it done. I've also thought about getting a leg!sleeve, too, but we'll see in like, 8 years or so, lmao.
Uhm, I'm rushing right now, because I really have to piss and shower. I just worked the longest day of my life catering for about like, $81--money that I so desparately need--and I want to get out of the house soon. Sweet hangz in the good ol' 07002!
Week of Doom commences tomorrow! So, basically I'll be MIA For the next few days.
Tomorrow = Warped Tour in Uniondale!
Sunday = Warped Tour in Englishtown!
Monday = Gpa's B-day/MUSE in MSG!
Tuesday = Belleville with Emma!
Wednesday = Asbury Lanes or Maxwells? not sure.
Thursday = ....wisdom teeth pulled. :[ o noes!
I will be piss broke by the end of this week, srsly. BUT I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT :D :D :D :D</lj>

Hm, I wish I kept up with other fridayfive's but it's enough answering these:
mcr_fridayfive.
1. How much of your (real) life time have you dedicated to My Chem?
Well, a lot actually. I try to keep up with news, mostly. I spend way too much time on my computer, anyway, so I surf around the net, looking for pretty pictures. I'm not gonna lie, macros entertain me loads. I keep up to date with rumors, too, or at least I try. Basically out of the, say, 24 hours in a day, I'll say that maybe half of it goes to them. Or something. Wow, that sounds terribly lame.
2. Are any of your closest friends into My Chem? If not, do they at least respect you and the band?
Okay, here's the thing, I've got different groups of friends: there're the ones I see everyday, my immediate friends, who are mostly guys and some of them I've known since I was 9 and younger; my interwebs friends, who are mostly far and I've probably never met, but still keep in touch; and my gig friends, who I see at shows and whatnot. Now, my immediate friends don't like MyChem at all. I mean, they acknowledge them as my band, but I get a lot of shit for it, still, after like 3 years. I do catch one or two of them admitting that 'well, that song is good, but I can't stand Gerard's singing.' or somrthing, but it's better than nothing. Then interwebs friends, ithey respect the band and give them a chance, but they're mostly not fans. My gig friends, however, I've pretty much met through MyChem, so yeah, they do, it's a given.
3. Have you ever been singled out/mocked/prejudged for being a My Chem fan?
Oh, dude, all the time. I mean, okay, I get some shit from my immediate group of friends, but I don't talk about MyChem to them anymore, so that saves me from that. But, I mean, like, I wear their merch, and I wear it proudly, but I think people just assume that I probably have a generic taste in music and like only 'main-stream' bands or something. I remember at shows early on, people would look at me and try to test my knowledge about Bullets and shit, it was annoying.
4. Frank once said, "It's [our fandom] like a community now, where kids are finding people just like them, and
that's what the message is." Do you feel that his observation is correct?
You have no idea. Through MyChem I've met some of the most amazing friends, just, ever. I could name them all, but they really know who they are. It's just, like, there's a mutual understanding that I think most MyChem fans have and I think that's why it's easy to connect with other like-minded fans. Beyond all the screaming and obnoxious fans, there's bound to be someone just like you, going to their show, breathing and feeling the show just as intensely as you are. It's a fucking great feeling, and an even greater one to share.
5. What is your take on Elitism and My Chem, and how do you, personally, handle it?
I'm not gonna lie, a few years ago, I had been a bit of an elitist. I think I was just so upset, not because they were playing bigger shows, but that they were drawing in an audience that I felt didn't deserve the opportunity to be at them, because I didn't think they understood the intensity of it all. But then, after seeing how elitism was just unnecessary and it wasn't fair to prejudge other fans, I just stopped that attitude and the fandom became a lot more enjoyable. It always seems like someone in the fandom, either at shows, or in person or online, is constantly trying to outdo the other. I mean, it's childish, and we're all supposed to be here and be able to enjoy our favorite band together. I remember there was this one post when Gerard said how he was now single, and it was like 200 comments of intervention, not bashing; that was great. I don't know if people act elite just to make them seem like a bigger and better fan, but it gets out of hand, especially when some 13-year-old girl gives you sass when you ask her politely where the merch table is. >_>
I've got to jet to work. Still not over 2,886 miles. :[ I seriously can't remember the last time Gerard did something to make me upset, ugh.

1. What was the first MCR song you ever heard?
You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us In Prison; a friend of mine let me listen to it few weeks before the release of Revenge. :]
2. What was the first MCR album you ever bought?
Revenge, then a week later I bought Bullets, since I didn't have enough money to get Bullets on the first round.
3. When was the first time you saw them live?
August 20, 2004 at Starland Ballroom with Coheed and Cambria for free.I actually got the tickets for a contest that My Chem was having, since the show sold out. I didn't win, but my friend at the time did and the rest is history. I was scared though, because a lot of people speculated that they weren't going to make it to the show, and I was like OH HELL NO, but they came and won my heart. :D I honestly would've seen them at the release show for Revenge on June 11 to see Boys Night Out (go figure) but, I had something more important arrangements to attend to that day. Plus, I was just a ripe age of 14, so I wasn't really allowed to go to shows prior to that summer. but, man, I would've killed to be a part of the blossoming Jersey scene then. Oh well.
4. What was the first piece of MCR merchandise you bought?
Oh shit, man, I bought this shirt that said, "The Devil Has A Place for Me And You" at the Starland show and I wore it all the time. Silly me gave it to my ex-boyfriend and I kind of miss it. :[
5. Who was the first member of the band you met?
Frankie! I didn't know how easy it was to meet people in bands, so I was dead set on meeting him when I went to see them at Roseland Ballroom October 26, 2004 so I made him a bracelet for his birthday and gave it to him and he was so sweet and so appreciative. Three years later, he's just as sweet and just as appreciative. :]
